Synopsis

Lucie, 17 ans, est une adolescente "ordinaire". Sa mère, collectionneuse d'autographes, voue un véritable culte à un tas de vedettes et consacre tout son temps libre à ses activités de fan. Mais Lucie, elle, ne disperse pas ses sentiments. De star dans son cœur, dans sa tête, il n'y en a qu'une. Tout le monde le sait. Ses photos recouvrent les murs de sa chambre, les pages de son cahier de texte. Un jour, son destin va la conduire à pénétrer dans la vie de son idole. Lucie is a teenager doting on a famous singer.Lauren Waks, a secret and inacessible artist, whose photographs cover the wall of her bedroom. That is how she escapes a dull existence in a provincial town with her mother and younger brother. Until one day an unexpected event enables the young fan to work her way into her idol's intimacy. She naively throws herself into a passinate relationship with the star of her dreams. But in attempting to make her happy in spite of herself, Lucie makes up a very wild plan indeed. Emmanuelle Bercot continues her explration of shady or conflicting relations between a teenage character and an adult character. Here the frenzied relation between young Lucie and her idol Lauren, examined with temerity and a welcome absence of sarcasm.
